Workflow & Policy Guide

Embed TrustGate in your process so it becomes the gate before every decision. Copy-paste policy text and integration patterns.

1. Internal policy (copy-paste)

Add this to your data governance, hiring, lending, or ML deployment policy. Once approved, your team cannot complete the process without TrustGate.

Policy statement

"We do not approve [hiring / lending / model deployment / medical treatment / policy changes] without a TrustGate verdict and, where required by audit or compliance, an attested Evidence Pack. TrustGate provides the governance gate and documented proof of due diligence."

Replace the bracketed phrase with your decision type. This makes TrustGate the single source of truth for "can we use this data for this decision?"

2. API integration (gate before the decision)

Call TrustGate before every high-stakes decision. No TrustGate call → no approval in your system. See API Docs.

POST /evaluate Content-Type: multipart/form-data file: [your CSV] decision_type: hiring | financial | medical | ml_deployment | policy | operational impact_level: low | medium | high regulatory_sensitivity: low | moderate | high population_affected: individuals | groups | public | internal

Integrate once; every decision is checked and logged. Remove the integration and decisions have no governance record.

3. Slack / Teams alerts

Send verdict summaries to Slack or Teams so governance is visible in the channels your team already uses. Use the Share verdict to Slack / Teams button after each assessment, or configure webhooks (Pro/Business).

Turning that off = losing visibility they've come to expect. TrustGate becomes part of their daily workflow.

4. Audit trail lock-in

Your governance history lives in TrustGate. Assessment history + Evidence Packs = the chain of evidence auditors verify. If you leave, you lose that proof. Past audits reference TrustGate attestation IDs; switching tools = "we no longer have that attestation chain."

5. Methodology in policy

For extra stickiness, name the methodology in your legal/compliance docs:

"Our due diligence process requires a governance assessment using the TrustGate Decision Methodology (or equivalent)."

"Equivalent" doesn't exist yet—so in practice it's TrustGate. They can't do without it without rewriting policy and re-approving.
